Large Scale Construction Robotics Laboratory at Vaihingen Campus

I was able to aid in the following efforts on research and planning for the new Large Scale Construction Robotics Laboratory:

1. Multi-Story Slab Design

A multi-story wood building system consisting of hollow slabs and grid independent solid columns was used to determine iterative layouts of the multi-story portion of the building. These initial studies were aided by Agent-Based Modeling.

2. Reinforcement Fiber Truss

A flax fiber truss is meant to reinforce an open edge of the covering segmented shell. The syntax of the undulating fiber component was tested and described in a computational workflow.
