TL2816

Mixed-Use Tower in Mexico City

TL2816 is a mixed-use development, located at the southwest area of Mexico City. The proposal is divided into two towers with different programs; one hosts 100 apartment units with several typologies and shared amenities, the second hosts open office space.

Both towers share an aesthetic that generates a unifying development, while maintaining their uniqueness. They also share a ground and first floor for commercial use, activated by a new pedestrian street between the towers that leads to an internal public square. Formally the towers diverge when reaching the ground, creating an urban door through the new pedestrian street. The apparently long apertures on the volumes aim to deceive the viewer, generating a vertical sense in a predominantly horizontal set of volumes.

“During the design of TL2816 I was able to participate and provide input in: architectural concept, schematic design, parking layout strategy, apartment typology & façade design.” Alan Eskildsen
